Leave the busy world behind and settle in for some colorful, creative vibes. Whether you’re giggling with friends, bonding with your child, or just enjoying some solo chill time, this is your chance to relax and make something special.
Pick your favorite piece from our shelf of ready-to-paint pottery (think mugs, bowls & more!), splash on some color from our paint bar, and let your imagination do the rest. We’ll fire it up in our kiln, and you’ll have a shiny, one-of-a-kind masterpiece to take home in just a few days if travelling or a few weeks if you are a local!

This workshop is available Friday evenings from 5:15 pm to 7:15 pm and during available Open Studio times. Open Studio is limited to one or two guests at a time, and you’re encouraged to call ahead to check availability.

Stir the Pot: Family Day Heritage Pottery at eARTh Studios
As part of BC Heritage Week 2026, eARTh Studios invites families to participate in a hands-on pottery surface-design activity celebrating food as heritage.
Participants will paint a pre-made ceramic serving vessel intended for use at the family table. Finished pieces are glazed and kiln-fired at the studio and available for pickup one week later.
Pottery has long been connected to food traditions across cultures, serving as vessels for cooking, sharing, and gathering. This Family Day activity reflects the 2026 Heritage Week theme, Stir the Pot, by exploring food as a form of cultural memory, identity, and connection to land, family, and community.
The experience encourages intergenerational participation and conversation, inviting reflection on how shared meals, traditional foods, and everyday objects carry stories from the past while shaping contemporary family life.
All ages welcome. No prior experience required.
Your $25 non-refundable deposit includes paint, studio space, and firing.
Pay for your choice of pot which range from $18.00-80.00, by cash, e-transfer, or square upon arrival. Open studio dates and times are an option for 1-2 people; if you are a group come Fridays!
