Spring Clay & Sculpture Program
Ages 7-13
In this 6-week hands-on program, students explore the expressive possibilities of clay through creative pottery forms. This Spring session is focused on ing creating garden and outdoor ceramic projects experimenting with new techniques, and developing rich surface designs.
Students Will Explore:

Bird houses, lanterns, shrines, and whimsical architectural forms

Textured wall tiles, hanging pieces, and seasonal sculptures

Handbuilding techniques: slab, coil, pinch, joining, hollowing

Nature-based textures using leaves, bark, stones, pinecones, and garden finds

Surface design: carving, stamping, sgraffito, slip painting, texture layering, and glazing
All students (ages 7–13) work within the same project themes, with individualized guidance so each child can challenge themselves at their own level.
Create a special nature inspired pottery and sculptures Friday after school in a series of a 8 week classes.
Fridays 1:30-3:00 April 10, 17,24,May 1,8 (away May 15th) /May 22. Pick up June 5th
