Deirdre Lynch
Deirdre Lynch grew up in the woods, while playing with the mud of Fletcher Creek. That play was first cultivated to create with clay, at an young age, in her uncle’s studio. Inspired to continue to be creative and to create with clay, in high school, by taking a visual art 3D class.
After graduating high school Deirdre traveled tough Mexico and Central America. The sights and sounds of traveling reinforced, Deirdre’s desire, to work with, and study ceramics.
Deirdre has a diploma in Clay, from Selkirk College. When she graduated from college she made her way to Vancouver. Deirdre taught ceramics for five yeas in Vancouver.
Ceramics has been a great gift in Deirdre’s life, a gift that she enjoys passing on.
